Program Requirements
- Completion of the A.S. with a Psychology Concentration or the A. A. with a concentration in History, or Sociology, or English Writing & Literature from Rhodes State College is required for admission to the B.G.S. degree in this agreement; Must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher and no courses with a grade below C- in the associate degree.
- No courses beyond the requirements for the respective A.A. or A.S. degree are required for admission to the B.G. S. program.
- Students are strongly encouraged to choose a minor.
- Students must earn a graduation GPA of 2.00 or better in courses required for the major that are offered by the major department.
- Students are required to meet our Residency requirement of 32 credit hours at 200 level or higher courses.
- All students in the program are expected to meet the same student learning outcomes and program requirements. Additional program requirements exist for all students in the B.G.S. ; see the Program Description page for Integrated Studies-BGS.
- You are responsible for satisfying the graduation requirements specified for your selected program. Thus, it is essential that you develop a thorough understanding of the required courses, academic policies and procedures governing your academic career. All requests for exceptions to specific requirements must be made in writing and may be granted only by written approval from the appropriate chair or dean.
