History (B.A.) With Secondary EDUC/POLS Minor 4-Year Plan

At least one course used to fulfill the COLA Thematic Requirements must be from the list of approved courses meeting the Non-Western tradition. - MA 15300 is required if student wants to get their minor in Economics; all other students are encouraged to take MA 14000 or STAT 12500.
- All history majors are encouraged to take the Resource Seminar offered by the Department of History, if they have not already taken one.
- Discuss your math and science options with your advisor.
- Check with your advisor for a list of upper level history courses approved for Gen Ed.
- Depending on the student’s situation, it may be recommended to take a class during the summer, rather than have 18 credit hours in one semester.
- It is not recommended to take more than 15 credit hours during the semester when student takes the senior seminar.

- Thematic Requirement A (non-HIST/non-POL) Cr. 3. Recommended: WOST 21000 or WOST 22500
Fall 3rd Year:
- EDU 34001 - Education And American Culture Cr. 3.
- American History elective at the 3000+ level Cr. 3.
- Western European History elective at the 3000+ level Cr. 3.
- World History elective at the 3000+ level (non-European) - (choose course that meets Thematic Requirement D) Cr. 3.
- POL minor requirement Cr. 3.
- General Education B4 elective Cr. 3.
