SPAN 42500 - Spanish Phonetics Introduction to basic linguistics and phonology. Intensive patterned pronunciation drills and exercises in sound discrimination and transcription based on articulatory description of standard Spanish of Spain and Latin America. Attendance in audio laboratory required.
Preparation for Course P: LING 10300 or other course work in linguistics and 30101 and 30201 or instructor permission.
