SOC 22500 - Violence Considers violence in society: its origins, forms, and consequences. Emphasis on describing the social forces that create patterns of violence in societies throughout the world. Forms examined include interpersonal, institutional and structural violence. Purpose of the course is to help the student better understand the role played by violence in modern society.
