The Richard T. Doermer School of Business offers a five-year combined degree program through which students can obtain a Bachelors of Science in Business (B.S.B.) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). The combined degree program provides students with the opportunity to obtain both degrees in less time and fewer overall credits than would be required when pursuing them separately.

Students accepted into the combined-degree program will have 12 credits of graduate coursework that satisfy degree requirements for both the B.S.B. and the MBA.

Admission

Students are admitted to the B.S.B. with the existing admission standards. Prior to enrollment in any graduate-level course work, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in a B.S.B. program in the Doermer School of Business at PFW and have not yet received the B.S.B.
  • Must have finished at least 60 credit hours towards the B.S.B.
  • Must have achieved a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0
  • Must apply and be successfully admitted into the MBA Program

Admissions to the MBA program will be conditional upon successful completion of the B.S.B. degree. After satisfactory completion of the B.S.B. degree requirements, the undergraduate degree will be awarded. The B.S.B. degree must be awarded prior to the MBA degree. The student’s primary degree objective will remain the B.S.B. until the B.S.B. is awarded. The MBA will be the student’s secondary degree objective from the time the student is accepted as an MBA student by the Graduate School until the award of the B.S.B.
