Theatre (BA) 4-Year Plan (General and entering in an ODD year)

Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Program Descriptions

This plan is an example only. It outlines a General Theatre B.A. degree 4-year plan, in which a concentration is not required. When a student chooses either another major or minor in a department at the university other than Theatre, the Theatre requirement of a concentration is waived. The student is then required to complete the Theatre core of 42 credits and the statewide General Education core. The remainder of credits to graduate are to be used as the student is advised in the other department in which he or she is majoring or minoring. If the student is able to take additional courses in Theatre because of the major/minor in another field’s requirements being exhausted, the student is welcomed to do so. Throughout the audit that follows, all courses associated with the major or minor in a second field and/or theatre electives will be described simply as “electives.” This is only a sample. Please see your advisors in both Theatre and the second field to develop your individualized plan. Course rotation and course offerings are subject to change based on faculty availability and enrollment minimums.
