Electrical Engineering Technology (B.S.) Articulation with Northwest State Community College, Requirements & 2- Yr Plan


This agreement is effective January 1, 2023 until June 30, 2026.

Program Requirements

  1. Completed A.A.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology degree from Northwest State Community College.
  2. Earned a course grade of “C-” or better in every course accepted for transfer, and a 2.0 or greater cumulative GPA based on a 4-point scale.
  3. Admitted to PFW.
  4. Must earn a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or better for graduation as well as a minimum grade of C- or better in all courses counted towards the degree. Classes below a C- may be retaken for a qualifying grade as needed.
  5. All students in the Electrical Engineering Technology (B.S.)  program are expected to meet the same student learning outcomes and program requirements. Additional program requirements exist for all students in the degree.
  6. Students must reverse transfer courses to Northwest State Community College to earn an Associate of Science degree - completing that degree is a condition for finishing this Bachelor of Science program at PFW.
  7. Students are recommended to work closely with the School of Polytechnic’s lead advisor and the College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science’s advisor to be sure they are satisfying the graduation requirements for the degree and adhering to all academic policies.
