2024-2025 Undergraduate Catalog
Theatre (BA) 4-Year Plan Acting (ODD Years)
|
|
B.A. Theatre 4-Year Plan Entering in an ODD numbered year (2023, 2025, 2027, etc.), this is the Theatre BA with a concentration in Acting.
These plans for incoming students-even-year and odd-year entrances-are examples only. Please see your advisor to develop your individualized plan, which will be loaded onto your My Blue Print Audit once your Concentration choice is determined. Course rotation and course offerings are subject to change based on faculty availability and enrollment minimums. Note that the total number of credits in this sample plan add up to more than the degree requirements of 120 credits for graduation. This is because there is variability in the student’s course choosing, allowing for some semesters of a lighter course load, as per specific advising plans..
In June 2021, the Purdue University Board of Trustees adopted a civics literacy graduation requirement for undergraduates, including all transfer students. This requirement applies to all undergraduate students who enter Purdue University Fort Wayne in Fall 2022 or any subsequent semester. There are three different pathways:
Civics Event pathway - Attend four approved civics-related events and pass the required exam; or
Civics Literacy Recordings pathway - Complete four recordings located in the Civics Literacy Brightspace module and pass the required exam; or
Approved course pathway - Complete any approved course and pass the required exam. The exam is independent of the approved course. Course options include both Gen Ed and Elective offerings.
