Course rotation and course offerings are subject to change based on faculty availability and enrollment minimums. At least one course used to fulfill the COLA Thematic Requirements must be from the list of approved courses meeting the Non-Western tradition. - MA 15300 is required if student wants to get their minor in Economics; all other students are encouraged to take MA 14000 or STAT 12500.
- All history majors are encouraged to take the Resource Seminar offered by the Department of History, if they have not already taken one.
- Discuss your math and science options with your advisor.
- Check with your advisor for a list of upper level history courses approved for Gen Ed.
- Depending on the student’s situation, it may be recommended to take a class during the summer, rather than have 18 credit hours in one semester.
- It is not recommended to take more than 15 credit hours during the semester when student takes the senior seminar.

Spring 2nd Year:
- EDU 34001 - Education And American Culture Cr. 3.
- HIST 32503 - Topics In History Cr. 3. (taken as Introduction to Public History)
- Fourth Semester Foreign Language Cr. 3.
- Thematic Requirement A (non-HIST course) Note: this course cannot double-count for Thematic Requirement C Cr. 3.
- World History History elective at the 2000+ level Cr. 3. (choose course that meets Thematic Requirement B)
