The student learning outcomes for the certificate include a working knowledge of the areas of:

- Commercial bank operations

- Derivative instruments
- Financial intermediaries

- Macroeconomics analysis
- Modeling simulation

- The Federal Reserve and monetary policy

Admission
Admission to the Certificate in Bank Management Program is limited to holders of bachelor’s degrees awarded by institutions which were accredited at the baccalaureate level or higher by the Higher Learning Commission (or comparable regional association) at the time the degree was granted or students currently enrolled in the School of Business with junior or senior standing.
You must meet the prerequisites for each course and earn a grade of C- or better in each course. You must complete at least 12 of the required 27 credits at Purdue University Fort Wayne to be eligible to receive the certificate.

All requests for exceptions to specific requirements must be made in writing and may be granted only by written approval from the appropriate chair or dean.
