BIOL 50900 - Molecular Biology And Applications The course will cover up-to-date recombinant DNA methods, how molecular biology methods have enhanced our understanding of basic biological functions and structures, and the applicability of molecular biology knowledge and techniques.
Preparation for Course P: BIOL 21800 and CHM 25400 or CHM 53300, or Permission of Instructor.
Cr. 3. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Explain the genetic principles underlying a variety of molecular techniques.
2. Identify appropriate situations in which a particular molecular application will be useful.
3. Design an experiment that answers a modern genetics questions using molecular applications discussed in this course.
