MUSC 38315 - Studio Management
Designed for the aspiring studio owner/manager, this course focuses on both business management skills as well as technical skills required to operate and maintain a recording studio. From troubleshooting to marketing, soldering to writing a business proposal, this course supplements the creative skills acquired in recording classes and contextualizes them in day-to-day studio operations. In a hybrid of online and in-person classes students will research studio needs, develop workflows and protocols, assess, repair, and build common studio hardware, and develop a business plan.
