CM 11100 - Sketching For Technology And Design



Focusing on problems of the built environment this course teaches students how to represent proportionately objects, planes, and volumes by developing observational skills and hand to eye coordination. Students are introduced to fundamental knowledge in composition, line work, lettering, contour drawing, sketching, shades, shadows, multi view drawings, sectional views, isometrics, and perspective drawing. Skills are developed in the use of multiple media including pen and ink, pencil, and monotone marker rendering.
