THTR 28000 - Politics In Theatre, Film, And Television



This course centers on the study of politics in theatre, film and television. Investigation into how these three mediums deal with politics including the executive, legislative, and judicial branches will be covered.

Student Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate an understanding of writing assignments as a series of tasks including identifying and evaluating useful and reliable outside sources.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical patterns, or historical contexts within a given social or behavioral domain.
3. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of contending explanations or interpretations for social, behavioral, or historical phenomena.
