An advanced study of specialized skills and construction techniques used in the creation of theatre costumes.

Student Learning Outcomes
1. Apply flat patterning and draping techiques to create a garment from a costume sketch.
2. Determine how a pattern was created and thus assemble garments in the costume shop with a higher degree of success.
3. Design a buckram pod hat as well as dye fabrics to a desired color and pattern that demonstrate course techniques.
