BIOL 14001 - Marine Biology Fieldtrip

Field trip to a marine coastal area, with experience in taking notes and identifying species in a range of areas, and participating in marine conservation activities.

1.  Describe the rudiments of the history, culture and language of the region.
2.  Identify a range of species or higher taxinomic classification of organisms in a marine environment.
3.  Explain the physical and biological characteristics of the marine and terrestrial habitats/ecosystems of the Pacific coast and how each species is adapted to these habitats/ecosystems.
