CM 45400 - Capstone I
The first term of a two-term, comprehensive, capstone project. Establishment and development of the design process with special emphasis placed on teamwork towards the initial Design Proposal.
Preparation for Course P: CM 30100, CM 30600, CM 32300, and CM 38100 with a grade of C- or better in each course.
Cr. 2. Notes Departmental permission required. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate skills learned during the course of the Bachelor’s degree program.
2. Manage the process of a design build project, which may include the functions of: Design and Presentation Drawings, Preliminary Construction Documents, Preliminary Estimating, Project Scheduling and Management, and material resources use.
3. Justify your ability to think ethically, creatively, and in terms of interrelated systems and global issues; function effectively on teams; identify, analyze and solve technical problems, all within a timely manner.
