Student Learning Outcomes
1. Become familiar with the contents in Civil engineering.
2. Development of independent thoughts and critical thinking Plan a focused reconnaissance and visual inspection of the site to collect required information leading to the decision for preliminary and detailed subsurface investigations.
3. Understanding scientific and engineering research principles and methods Understand the effectiveness and limitations of various site investigation tools.
4. Knowledge of the research literature Select the most suitable soil and rock sampling tool, based on the geometrical type.
