AD 47200 - User Interface And Experience

This course introduces the principles of UX or user experience. Focusing on the user centered design approach, students will learn how to apply these concepts in the realm of digital interface design, both in the critique of existing websites and applications and the creation of new ones. The class will have a focus in website and mobile app UI design.

1. Create a body of work that demonstrates familiarity and proficiency in working with a variety of tools and programs that are fundamental to successful user experience and interface design.
2. Demonstrate the acquisition of vocabulary and knowledge base through active participation in describing processes in idea development, processes, programs, as well as participation in critique and self-assessment.
