MUSC 28352 - Songwriting II

A continuation of the Songwriting I course. Class sessions are able to function as “songwriting workshops” for student performances of compositions.

Preparation for Course
P: MUSC 28351 with grade of C- or better and admitted into a program of the School of Music.

1. Create songs (music and lyrics) in various genres and styles.
2. Create/begin a songwriting portfolio.
3. Develop original versions and interpretations of previously recorded songs.
