Student Learning Outcomes
1. Understand factors that control the distribution of major tree species that are native to forest regions of North America.
2. Gain exposure to silviculture, ecology, commercial, and wildlife uses of the tree species in various forest types.
3. Learn identifying characteristics of woody vegetation in North America, with emphasis on Indiana.
