COM 40400 - Media And Globalization
This course studies the major debates over world communities with cultural products such as media and pop culture. Applying theoretical approaches to transnational media, students will explore the historical and social contexts of media globalization.
Preparation for Course P: COM 33000, or consent of instructor.
Cr. 3. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Learn the major critical debates surrounding media and globalization.
2. Develop an understanding of the complex cultural issues related to globalization.
