AD 30601 - Illustration III: Vector
Students will learn advanced vector-based illustration tools through programs such as Illustrator to complete assignments based in the areas of character, product, package, and mechanical concepts. The student will begin to develop a personal illustration style through exercises concerned with creative and conceptual thinking skills.
Preparation for Course P: AD 10401, AD10502, AD12100, AD20502 and AD20601.
Cr. 3. Hours Studio. 6. Notes Minimum grade of C- required to count towards any program of the Department of Art and Design. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Produce technically sophisticated illustrations through the use of Illustrator.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the illustrational effects different tools create.
3. Demonstrate an awareness of the content of an illustration through writing and/or critique situations.
