ITC 38000 - Project Analysis Design And Implementation
This course discusses the processes, methods, techniques and tools that organizations use to determine the feasibility of technology projects. The course covers a systemic methodology for analyzing a business problem or opportunity, collecting business and data requirements, creating design documentation, preforming risk assessment, and selecting the appropriate implementation plan.
Preparation for Course P: ITC 11000.

2. Understand role of project management in analysis and design (CAC/ABET item n).
3. Understand the different methods of information gathering and select the appropriate method (CAC/ABET item k).
4. Understand the role of data, data dictionaries, and data flow in the analysis and design process (CAC/ABET item k).
5. Understand various modeling and prototyping approaches (CAC/ABET item j).
6. Be able to create process specifications based on user input (CAC/ABET item k).
7. Be able to design effective input and output (CAC/ABET item c).
8. Understand how human computer interaction (HCI) is integrated into the analysis and design process (CAC/ABET item j).
9. Understand the testing and implementation process (CAC/ABET item l).
