Student Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate improved understanding of key aspects of French grammar, especially those covered only in brief at the elementary and intermediate levels.
2. Demonstrate a more complete comprehension of how grammar functions and aids in the acquisition of vocabulary as well as the development of writing styles.
3. Demonstrate the ability to write consistently, coherently, and extensively in French through the completion of at least four written assignments.
4. Demonstrate the ability to read French critically and constructively through peer review of work written in French by classmates.
5. Demonstrate the ability to express, defend, question, and expansively describe one’s opinions and points of view (as well as those of others) in formal presentations and in conversational exchanges in class in French.
