EDU 20002 - Using Computers In Education
Introduction to the core practices and concepts of the Indiana Academic Standards for Computer Science K-8 and opportunities for their integration across all grades and subjects. Addresses fundamentals of educational technology, including the integration of instructional design, media, computers and related technologies within the traditional, blended, and online classroom settings.
Cr. 1-3. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate foundational knowledge of instructional technologies and concepts through discussions, explorations, and class projects.
2. Plan and design effective learning environments and experiences supported by technology.
3. Develop instructional plans that integrate digital tools and strategies to maximize student learning.
4. Identify and apply digital tools to support student assessment and evaluation.
5. Evaluate and integrate technology to enhance professional practice and productivity.
6. Apply knowledge of social, ethical, and legal issues in technology integration within the teaching and learning environment.
