EDU 44700 - Methods Of Teaching Secondary English

Prepares prospective teachers to design and apply methods of teaching English language arts at the secondary level. Public school participation required.

Student Learning Outcomes
1. Employ knowledge of learning processes associated with critically consuming, curating, and creating various types of texts, both individually and collaboratively.
2. Draw from theory, research, and knowledge of English language arts (ELA) to plan instruction that is coherent, relevant, standards-aligned, antiracist/antibias, and differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
