THTR 33200 - Musical Theatre Vocal Styles and Repertoire

Vocal techniques and styles for a range of repertoire as they exist in musical theatre covered in this course. Instruction includes development of singing skills, movement, acting, interpretation of songs and staging. Students are required to prepare a final project of excerpts from a range of standard works. Attendance at all scheduled performances is required.

P: THTR 23300, THTR 33300, and THTR 23900 with grades of C- or better.
