MATR 38100 - Engineering Materials Applications and characteristics of engineering materials used in industry with special emphasis on plastics and other nonferrous materials such as elastomers, composites, ceramics, and glass, including a survey of the processes involved. Also, metallurgy, failure analysis, corrosion resistance, and surface treatments of metallic and nonmetallic materials.
Prerequisite(s) for Course P: MET 18000 or MATR 18000, and CHM 11100 with grades of C- or better.
