SPAN 42300 - The Craft Of Translation

Basic introductory course in translation. The problems and techniques of Spanish/English and English/Spanish translation using a variety of texts and concentrating on such critical areas as stylistics, tone, rhythms, imagery, nuance, allusion, etc.

P: SPAN 27500 and SPAN 31100, or permission of the instructor.
