MET 33500 - Basic Machining

A comprehensive survey of machine tools as they are used in converting work pieces into finished products with consideration of cost, quality, quantity, and interchangeability and safety requirements. Actual operation analysis of many machine tools set-ups will be provided for comparison studies.

Preparation for Course
P: MET 18000 or MATR 18000 or ME 30300; and PHYS 21800 or PHYS 15200; and MA 15400 or MA 16500 or MA 22700; or Math Placement Test score 60 or higher.
