CHM 10400 - Living Chemistry An introductory chemistry course that focuses upon the biomolecules of living systems. General chemistry topics include chemical bonds, solutions, acid/bases, and buffers. The study of organic chemistry is given as a preamble to the structure, function, and metabolism of biomolecules such as proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids. No credit toward any chemistry degree or a chemistry minor.
Preparation for Course P: MA 12401 with a Grade of C- or Better or Placement by Exam at the Level of MA 11100 or Higher
Cr. 3. Notes CHM 10400 is not acceptable as a prerequisite for CHM 115.
