Theatre (BFA) Concentration in Integrated Studies 4-Year Plan (Even Years)
For Theatre BFA Majors with a concentration in Acting entering in an Even Numbered Year.
NOTE: A 4-year plan for the BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Integrated Studies allows for two discipline choices to complete the concentration. The student either chooses two, 15-credit bundles of theatre specialization (total 30 credits) plus the capstone requirement of 4 credits (from theatre discipline options in Musical Theatre, Acting or Production and Design), or the student chooses one theatre discipline (15 credits), a minor in any department at the university (15 or more credits) and the theatre capstone requirements (4 credits). Ten open electives in the degree plan allow the student to complete any minor in an outside field, if the minor contains more than 15 credits. Because of the high degree of choice, this 4-year plan requires one-on-one mapping with the advisor, based on the student’s particular discipline choices in theatre and, if optioned, an outside field. The following 4-year plan below serves as a general sample only, as the specific plan will be so dependent upon the student’s discipline preferences.
