Theatre (BFA) Concentration in Acting 4-year plan (Even years)

For Theatre BFA Majors with a concentration in Acting entering in an Even Numbered Year.
NOTE: During matriculation students have the following options in any semester to fulfill the following degree requirements:
- 6 credits of rehearsal and performance in any combination
- 6 credits of dance technique courses
- 2 Production Technique courses (Stagecraft, Costume, Lighting)
- 1 course between History of Modern Drama and American Musical Theatre (Acting students should be advised to take History of Modern Drama)
- 1 Design Course (Scenic, Costume, Lighting)
- 4 courses in Special Topics for Actors
- Two 0 credit courses in ushering/stage crew THTR 06800 and THTR 06900

Fall 1st Year:
NOTE: All PFW students must complete a Civics Literacy Requirement to graduate. To satisfy the degree requirement, they must complete an educational activity as part of their chosen civics literacy pathway-of which there are three-and pass the Purdue civics knowledge test. The knowledge test can be completed at any time while the pathway is being pursued. The civics event and civics literacy recordings pathways may be combined (e.g., two events and two recordings, for a total of four). Options, choose 9-13 credits from the following:
THTR 36200 Light Design Cr. 3
Any GEN ED still needed Cr. 3
THTR 32500 BFA Acting Project Cr. 1
Any remaining Dance Courses Cr. 2
Elective courses Cr. 1-3
Special Topics Courses, either THTR 33900 Musical Theatre Performance 2 or THTR 44000 Directing Page to Stage Cr. 3
