Communication (B.A.) Communication Studies Concentration

Communication Studies Concentration
Department of Communication
College of Liberal Arts

Neff Hall 230 ~ 260-481-6825

For students who wish to add the Communication B.A. as an additional, concurrent bachelor’s degree, the Department of Communication has created the specialized Communication Studies concentration. In this concentration, students will still take the communication core, but will have reduced hours to put together an assortment of major courses that work best with their paired major. If students remove their additional bachelor’s degree program, they will need to declare and complete one of the other three concentrations to earn the bachelor’s degree in Communication: 1) Journalism and Media Production, or 2) Media, Rhetoric, and Culture, or 3) Strategic Communication.

It is recommended that students discuss options with an advisor in the Department of Communication if pursuing this concentration.
