Psychology (B.A.) Articulation with Northwest State Community College, Requirements & 2-Yr Plan

Program Requirements
- Completion of the A.A. degree with specified courses from Northwest State Community College.
- Student earned a course grade of “C-” or better in every course accepted for transfer, and have earned a 2.0 or greater cumulative GPA based on a 4-point scale.
- Student admitted to PFW.
- Students must earn a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or better for graduation. Students must earn a minimum grade of C- or better in all PSY courses for credit towards their degree. Classes below a C- may be retaken for a qualifying grade as needed.
- All students in the Psychology (B.A.) program are expected to meet the same student learning outcomes and program requirements. Additional program requirements exist for all students in the degree.
- Complete Supplemental Assessments and Exit Exam as required for graduation: a) FOCUS career guidance tool and a Career Development Center session to review the results (during PSY 14000); b) Career Development Center session to review resume or curriculum vitae (during junior year); c) Career Development Center session focused on cover letter review, personal statement review, or mock interview (during senior year); and d) pass the Psychology Exit Exam.
- Students are recommended to work closely with the Department’s lead advisor and the College of Science’s advisor to be sure they are satisfying the graduation requirements for the degree and adhering to all academic policies.
