History (B.A.) With Secondary EDUC/ECON Minor 4-Year Plan

Course rotation and course offerings are subject to change based on faculty availability and enrollment minimums.  At least one course used to fulfill the COLA Thematic Requirements must be from the list of approved courses meeting the Non-Western tradition.  The list can be found here: College of Liberal Arts Thematic Requirements  

  • MA 15300 is required if student wants to get their minor in Economics.
  • All history majors are encouraged to take the Resource Seminar offered by the Department of History, if they have not already taken one.
  • Discuss your math and science options with your advisor.
  • Check with your advisor for a list of upper level history courses approved for Gen Ed.
  • Depending on the student’s situation, it may be recommended to take a class during the summer, rather than have 18 credit hours in one semester.
  • It is not recommended to take more than 15 credit hours during the semester when student takes the senior seminar.
