The minor in Medieval Studies is interdisciplinary, drawing faculty from and providing course work in the areas of art history, English and linguistics, history, foreign languages, philosophy, and religious sturdies. Any undergraduate student who wishes to diversify their approach to primary sources while deepening their knowledge in this area will benefit.
This minor will also benefit students who plan to pursue graduate studies in English, history, philosophy, religious studies, foreign languages, or art history.
The minor in Medieval Studies may be earned by completing the following 15 credits with a grade of C- or better in each course. At least 6 credits must be earned as resident credit at the 200 level or above.
Any IPFW student in good standing may have this minor added by contacting the program secretary in the College of Arts and Sciences or your primary advisor/major advisor to declare this minor.
