A minor in music is designed for students who wish to enhance an interest in music while majoring in another area. To earn this minor, you must complete the courses listed below and earn a grade of C or better in each. Six credits must be at the 200 level or higher.

24 credit hours selected from the following:
Music History and Literature Credits: 4
Applied Study and/or Ensemble Credits: 6-12
Placement in ensembles and/or applied studios by audition only.
- Applied Study (with jury examination) Credits: 4-8
- Ensembles Credits: 2-4
Electives Credits: 0-6
Students may work with an advisor in the Department of Music to select electives to fulfill the remaining credit hours. Concert Attendance Credits: 0
