The student learning outcomes are for students to be able:

• To develop an understanding of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial orientation
• To develop a business plan for the enterprise
• To use marketing and financial information to advance/promote the plan
• To understand available financing providers including “angels”< venture capitalists, and strategic partners.

The Small Business Management Certificate is designed to provide students with the very basic skills needed to understand the business environment and to make sound decision while running their own business.
