ENG L113 - Introduction to African Literature

A study of African oral and written fiction, poetry, and drama. Designed to give students a basic knowledge of African literature and the issues surrounding it.

Preparation for Course
P: placement at or above ENG W131 (or equivalent) and exemption from or completion of ENG R150.

Approved by Arts and Sciences for the Cultural Studies (Non-Western Culture) requirement. If you are required by placement examination to take ENG P131, or R150, it is recommended that you complete that requirement before enrolling in any other English course.
