BUS W204 - Social, Legal, and Ethical Implications of Business Decisions The interaction of business and society beyond objective of profit maximization. Issues addressed include the interplay of social, political, legal, economic, global, and ethical variables as they influence the firm and its conduct of business operations. Such analysis will stress the historical, current, and projected role of business in society.
Preparation for Course P: ECON E200 or E201; sophomore class standing.
Cr. 3. Notes Enrollment in business (BUS) courses numbered 301 and above is restricted to students who meet established criteria (see business degrees section of Part 4). Students enrolled in programs other than business and economics may not enroll in business and economics courses that would encompass more than 25 percent of their degree programs.
