THTR 32700 - Production And Design BFA Project
A flexible, mentor‑guided capstone in which Production and Design BFA students complete an approved project that integrates research, applied practice, professional documentation, and a final presentation/defense appropriate to their emphasis and level. Scheduling, deliverables, and evaluation are set collaboratively by the student and mentor.
Preparation for Course P: Restricted to Theatre majors and minors.
Cr. 3. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate mastery of discipline specific production or design practices through a faculty mentored capstone project.
2. Integrate research, theoretical analysis, and practical methodologies to inform artistic/technical decision-making.
3. Engage professionally in collaborative and communication practices appropriate to their role.
4. Produce and present a culminating project that reflects readiness for professional practice or advanced study.
5. Document and articulate their process through reflective, critical, and/or research-based writing and presentation.
