COM 46900 - Media Entrepreneurship
This course explores media and entertainment from an industry-focused perspective, emphasizing entrepreneurialism. A deep understanding of the industry is essential for entrepreneurial success. We will examine its historical development and the impact of digital technologies. Students will analyze the foundations of the industry, historical and emergent trends, and learn how to leverage innovation and growth to develop their career in the field. The course is designed to help spark opportunities, while equipping students with tools and strategies to thrive in media markets.
