Preparation for Course
P: Admitted into a program of the School of Music with senior class standing.

Notes
Music Industry Studies degree students must deliver a public lecture/presentation.
Songwriting concentration students must present a 30 - 45 minute public performance featuring their compositions.
Recording and Production concentration students must present a combination of a public lecture/presentation and a public musical performance.
Student Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate thorough understanding of previous coursework in Music Production and/or Songwriting and/or Music Industry through the production of an approved capstone project.
2. Defend production methods based on context and application in music.
3. Develop and curate materials for a portfolio.
