MUSC 28352 - Songwriting II

A continuation of the Songwriting I course. Songs will be written at a faster pace, using a variety of prompts to provide practice in various genres and commercial applications.

Preparation for Course
P: MUSC 28351 with grade of C- or better and admitted into a program of the School of Music.

1. Identify the objective and target demographic of their compositions.
2. Explain writing and composing techniques used to achieve these objectives.
3. Describe and implement the differences in various songwriting genres and commercial uses.
