MUSC 20500 - Music Recording III



An advanced course in music recording and production techniques. Topics include the production process, tracking techniques, analog processing, and session management. In addition to exercises and assignments, students produce two original recording projects.

Preparation for Course
P: MUSC 20300 (or equivalent) with grade of C- or better and admitted into a program of the School of Music.

2. Create large-scale/high-quality music recordings (technical and musical) via integrated DAW and hybrid technical facilities.
3. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in music production procedures.
4. Demonstrate command of concepts, terminology, and procedures related to the field of music recording and production.
5. Create presentations based upon research.
