COM 25300 - Introduction To Public Relations
An analysis of public relations theory and practice from their origins to the present. From a communication perspective, the course examines public relations environments, audiences, and message strategies.
Cr. 3. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences.
2. Apply PR and communication theories to analyze and critique PR campaigns and strategies.
3. Develop an understanding of media relations for both traditional and digital platforms.
4. Evaluate the ethical implications of PR work and make informed ethical decisions.
