COM 21200 - Approaches To The Study Of Interpersonal Communication
A study of the basic characteristics of human communication and the theoretical and practical implications of these characteristics for various forms of oral communication.
Cr. 3. Notes Indiana Core Transfer Library course. Student Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate a knowledge of current research and theory on interpersonal communication processes.
2. Describe and evaluate the characteristics of effective interpersonal communication behaviors in various contexts.
3. Explain what it means to communicate competently (effectively, appropriately, ethically) interpersonally, in groups, and in organizational contexts.
4. Draw connections between the concepts and theories discussed in class and their own personal experiences.
