BUS 58100 - Graduate Internship In Business


Designed for students seeking a formal internship experience. This course serves to relate professional experience to one’s academic experience, career, and self-development.  To participate in this program, students must complete the pre-approval process through the Career Center and the Office of the MBA Programs.

Student Learning Outcomes
1.  Communicate effectively both personal and professional needs, wants, and goals. 
2.  Design effective and demonstrate professional marketing tools (i.e. resumes, cover letters, personal appearance, and interviewing skills). 
3.  Gain insight into a possible career path of interest while learning about the industry in which the organization resides, organizational structure, and roles and responsibilities within that structure. 
4.  Demonstrate networking and communication with peers and professionals and identify a strategy for maintaining connections. 
5.  Analyze expectations of internship work environment compared to previous work environments.
